The following resource was put together by Fairshare CSA Coalition, a non-profit organization based in Madison, Wisconsin that supports and connects Community Supported Agriculture farmers and consumers, in partnership with Harmony Valley Farm of Viroqua, WI. Planning for a Successful CSA Season briefly illustrates the production steps to consider for a CSA farm. Specifically this publication includes the goals of operating a CSA, planning CSA box contents, crop planning, seed, greenhouse and field management, harvesting and postharvest management. The planning CSA box content section has a supplement (CSA Box Handout) that can be found under the marketing and business management section on FairShare CSA Coalition’s website: http://images.csacoalition.org/media/HVF-2009-Box-Contents-summary.pdf
