Colorado Potato Beetle was produced by the University of Wisconsin Extension and written by Karen Delahaut. The Colorado potato beetle is a destructive pest affecting both home and market gardens on the potato or eggplant, as well as common weed species including night-shade, ground cherry, jimsonweed, horse nettle, and mullen. The beetle feeds on leaves of the plant and can lead to complete defoliation.
